Both Sims and Milton received their Juris Doctor degrees from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham and focus their practices on personal injury law.

“I believe a good attorney not only must know the law, but also know her clients,” says Sims. “Sincerity, passion and the ability to listen are also important in developing a good relationship and being able to advocate on behalf of the client.” Kristen graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of North Alabama in 2006 having studied Criminal Justice and Sociology.  In 2008, Kristen moved to Birmingham, Alabama to pursue her Juris Doctor and graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 2011. She joined the firm in November of 2011.

“I believe that for an attorney to be successful, he or she must have patience, attentiveness and compassion for their clients,” says Milton. “Since graduating in 2010, I have focused my practice almost exclusively on personal injury claims including automobile accidents. Our own Charles G. Pitman has just published a book titled Wrecked! Top 10 Mistakes That Damage Your Alabama Injury Claim. The book is written for those who have been injured in an auto accident in Alabama. It explains what you should and should not do at the accident scene, how insurance works in Alabama, and talks about the 10 biggest mistakes that many accident victims make.
