Charles received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Samford University in Birmingham, AL and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta international sociology honor society. He attended Birmingham School of Law in Birmingham, AL and passed the Alabama State Bar on the first attempt. Charles focuses his practice on handling auto accident, personal injury and disability claims in Alabama.

Charles grew up in North Alabama on a large farm and started working as soon as he was big enough to hold a broom. He grew up in a family where hard work was the rule, and started driving a tractor and working in the fields at age 5. Charles was the first in his family to receive a bachelor’s degree.

When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, Charles always replied that he wanted to be an attorney so he could help people. Immediately upon passing the Bar exam, he opened his own personal injury and disability practice. Charles is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Alabama Advocates for Justice, American Trial Lawyer Association, and Alabama Bar Association. He is an accomplished author and has just released his new book Wrecked: Top 10 Mistakes That Damage Your Alabama Auto Accident Claim. A second book, Denied: Cut the Red Tape to Get Your Disability Benefits, is expected out in April of 2012.

Outside of work, Charles enjoys spending time with his family and supporting various charities including the March of Dimes.
